Creating an Enchanted Spring Terrarium

I love incorporating seasonal decor into my home, and this DIY terrarium is the perfect way to bring a touch of spring indoors. With its elegant glass cloche and charming brass rabbits nestled in moss, this piece feels like a little storybook scene right on my table.

This setup was so simple to put together and makes a gorgeous centerpiece for a console table, kitchen island, or coffee table. Here’s how I created this layered look:

Materials Used:

✔️ Glass Cloche or Terrarium Jar – The one I used has a beautiful rounded top that adds to the whimsical feel.

✔️ Brass Rabbit Figurines – These vintage-inspired rabbits bring warmth and a sense of movement to the display.

✔️ Preserved Moss & Spanish Moss – I used a mix of green and brown moss to create texture and mimic a forest floor.

✔️ Small River Stones – These add a natural base and help anchor the moss.

✔️ Mini Mushrooms (Optional) – A fun touch that makes it feel like a woodland wonderland!

How to Assemble:

1️⃣ Start with a Base – Add a layer of small stones or pebbles for depth and stability.

2️⃣ Layer in Moss – Arrange Spanish moss and preserved moss to create a soft, organic foundation.

3️⃣ Position Your Rabbits – Place the brass rabbits in a way that makes them look like they’re interacting.

4️⃣ Add Finishing Touches – Tuck in tiny mushrooms or other decorative elements for a natural look.

5️⃣ Cover with the Cloche – Carefully place the glass top to complete the terrarium.

 I love how this little scene feels like a snapshot of spring—playful, elegant, and timeless. It’s a perfect way to refresh your decor for the season without being overly themed.
