If you love Kit Kats, you won’t believe how easy it is to make them at home! These homemade Kit Kats have the perfect crisp and chocolatey layers, and the best part is—you only need a few simple ingredients.
Once you try this recipe, you may never go back to store-bought again.
Ingredients:
• 12 oz chocolate candy melts (or 1 ¾ cups) – don’t use chocolate chips; candy melts set harder
• ¾ cup peanut butter
• ½ cup honey
• 4 tablespoons butter
• Tort wafers (I ordered mine from Amazon!)
Instructions:
1. Melt the Chocolate Mixture:
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate candy melts, peanut butter, honey, and butter. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
2. Layer the Chocolate and Wafers:
Start with a thin layer of chocolate in a parchment-lined dish. Add a wafer, then another thin layer of chocolate, and repeat. The more layers, the better!
3. Set and Slice:
Place the dish in the fridge until the chocolate hardens. Once set, slice into bars and enjoy!
These homemade Kit Kats are rich, crispy, and full of flavor. Perfect for snacking, gifting, or satisfying your sweet tooth!
Let me know if you try them—I’d love to hear what you think!
